YoungTae Noh is an associate professor in the school of energy engeering at KENTECH. He received his B.S. in computer science from Chosun University in 2005, an M.S. degree in information and communication from Gwangju Institute of Science Technology (GIST) in 2007, and a Ph.D. in computer science at University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in 2012. Before joining KENTECH, he was with Cisco Systems as a software engineer (2012-2014), with the department of computer science at Purdue University as a Postdoctoral Research Associate (2015-2015), and with the department of computer engeering, Inha University as an assistant professor (2015-2021)and associate professor (2021-2022).
His research interests include Software Defined Networking (SDN), Big Data Processing Frameworks (Hadoop, Spark, Tez, etc.), Mobile Networking/Computing, Indoor Localization, Content-Centric Networking (CCN), Underwater Acoustic Sensor Networks, Wireless Sensor Networks.
